Wuardiang Privacy Policy

Welcome to Wuardiang. Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how Wuardiang ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, stores, and shares your personal information when you use our Wuardiang mobile application (the "App") and its integrated chat assistant.
By using our App, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following information to provide and improve our services:
- Information provided by the user:
- First Name: We use this to personalize your experience within the App.
- Year of Birth: We request this to verify age or for future personalization features (currently, it is mainly used for account management).
- Information generated during use:
- Chat Messages: We collect the messages, questions, or prompts you send to the Wuardiang assistant within the App.
- Assistant Responses: We collect the responses generated by the assistant and displayed in the App.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- To provide and maintain the App: To operate the core chat functionality with the Wuardiang assistant.
- To process your requests: To send your messages to the underlying technology (Google Gemini API) and receive the corresponding responses.
- To manage your account: To identify you as a user and maintain your chat history.
- Personalization: To address you by your name within the App.
- Compliance and Security: To comply with legal obligations and protect the security of our users and services.
3. How and With Whom We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share your information only in the following circumstances:
- With Technology Service Providers:
- Google (Gemini API): For the Wuardiang assistant to understand your messages and generate responses, we send the content of your chat messages to the Google Gemini API. Google processes this information according to its policies. Google has stated that content sent by customers through services like the Gemini API on Google Cloud (Vertex AI) is not used to train its general artificial intelligence models. - Google (Firebase): We use Firebase, a Google service, to securely store the information we collect (your first name, year of birth, and chat history). Firebase acts as our storage and database provider. Its use of information is also governed by the Google privacy policies mentioned above.
- Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if we believe in good faith that it is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, protect our rights or security, investigate fraud, or respond to a governmental request.
- Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred to the successor entity.
4. Data Storage and Security
- Storage: Your information (name, year of birth, chat history) is stored on secure servers provided by Google Firebase.
- Security: We implement reasonable technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no electronic transmission or storage system is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
- Retention: We will retain your personal information as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with the App's services, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You can request the deletion of your account and associated data (see section "Your Rights").
5. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your location (especially if you are in the European Economic Area), you have certain rights regarding your personal information:
- Right of Access: You can request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Right to Rectification: You can request that we correct any inaccurate or incomplete personal information.

6. Children's Privacy
Our App is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under this age. If we discover that we have collected personal information from a child without verifiable parental consent, we will take steps to delete that information from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.
7. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and/or through an in-App notification. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.
